.In this image from Aug. 7, 2009, Jose Hernandez, purpose expert, grins at the camera as he awaits his turn to enter into the space shuttle Revelation as component of STS-128. It was the 128th Shuttle bus objective and also the 30th objective to the International Spaceport Station. While at the periodic lab, the STS-128 crew carried out 3 spacewalks.Hernandez joined NASA's Johnson Space Center in Houston in 2001. There, he was a materials analysis engineer in the Products &amp Processes division ultimately, he became branch main.
